Feedback
"I am finding the courses helpful to update, review, and gain new information and ideas. A very large percentage of my students have special needs and/or have IEPs. Gangs, drugs, and aggression are part of everyday life for many of them. The information [in these courses] has been immediately applicable."

Mother's Day falls on May 11th this year. Help your students show appreciation to their mothers or other important caregivers in their lives by writing letters, making cards, or doing other craft projects to honor them. Learn about the history of Mother's Day and share it with your students by visiting the Mother's Day Central website.
We are just blown away by the huge response we have received so far! It is going to be a true challenge for us to choose a single winner for this contest, because so many of you have written wonderful and touching essays about why you teach. We are thoroughly enjoying reading each and every entry. If you haven't entered to win, it is not too late. Our winner will not be chosen until June 2nd (all entries must be received by May 30th). The winning essay will be published in the September 2008 edition of this newsletter.
