Course Info
Course Requirements
You must obtain an overall score of 70% or higher, with no individual exam score below 50%, and successfully complete ALL writing assignments to pass this course. Once your course materials are received, you are required to read the Course Syllabus, Course Syllabus Addendum and Essay Grading Guidelines to be certain that you understand all of the course requirements and expectations.
Course Deadline
From the day that your course link is emailed to you, you will have a minimum of two weeks with a maximum of six months for course completion.
DOE requirements and stricter guidelines for ensuring security of grades and student privacy, Ursuline College & VESi are prohibited from providing you with your grade via email and it will need to be requested via your transcript. Once your course is submitted, you will need to allow approximately 3-4 weeks for your grade to be posted. You will receive an email from Ursuline College once your grade is posted and then you will request your transcript via www.getmytranscript.org (enter Ursuline College in the Select School bar).
Course Maximums and Registration Deadlines
One course maximum in fall term (September through *December)
One course maximum in spring term (January through *April)
One course maximum in summer term unless you did not take a course in the either the spring or fall term, then you may take two courses in the summer. (May through *August)
*Must be registered by 3:00pm PST on last business day of the term in order to be registered in the particular term
Certificates/Micro Credentials
Below is a list of certificates/micro-credentials (not state recognized endorsements) that you may obtain through Ursuline College upon successful completion of all courses noted under the specific certificate/micro-credential area that you are seeking. While these do not lead to any type of license or endorsement, they are fantastic resume and knowledge boosters.
Some of these certificates/micro-credentials are too large to be completed in a single yearly subscription plan. You may have to purchase another subscription to complete the certificate. You may only have one active subscription at a time. You may register for a second subscription either once your current subscription expires (expires one year from date of purchase) or once all three courses from your current subscription are completed.
