Course Info
*Please note, courses are transcribed in the term that the course is completed and the grade submitted to the university, not necessarily the term you register in.
NOTE: Even though you will be issued an Avila ID#, students under this course subscription program are not officially admitted students to Avila University, so you will not receive student log in credentials for Avila University's student portal. Please see below for information regarding when/where to request your grade/transcript.
Avila University will accept up to 9 credits into their Master of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction graduate program. To inquire with Avila regarding their Master of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction program, please visit https://www.graduateprogram.org/avila-university/.
Course Requirements
You must obtain an overall score of 70% or higher, with no individual exam score below 50%, and successfully complete ALL writing assignments to pass this course. Once your course materials are received, you are required to read the Course Syllabus, Course Syllabus Addendum and Essay Grading Guidelines to be certain that you understand all of the course requirements and expectations.
Course Deadline
From the day that your course link is emailed to you, you will have a minimum of two weeks with a maximum of one year for course completion. *Please note, courses are transcribed in the term that the course is completed and the grade submitted to the university, not necessarily the term you register in.
Upon course completion, please allow VESi approximately two weeks to process your materials and to notify Avila University of your grade. The university will then need time on their end to process and post your grade and then you may request your transcript by following the instructions under the Request Avila University Transcript heading on this page: https://www.avila.edu/academics/registrar-office/.
If you have questions or need assistance with requesting transcripts, contact Avila at graded@avila.edu or call 816-501-2464.
Course Maximums and Registration Deadlines
The term in which course grades will appear on the Avila University transcript will be based on the date upon which the course is completed and grade submitted to Avila, not the date on which you register. Please remember that there is a two-week minimum for course completion, so if you happen to complete and submit your course before the two-week minimum has elapsed, the course completion date will be the date on which your two-week minimum has been met.
Know that Avila has a 6 credit maximum for the fall term, a 6 credit maximum for the spring term and a 9 credit maximum for the summer term.
